It has a shitty spark plug that I can’t find anywhere so I have to have the local Moto dealer order it for me. But it started today. I had to move it for the tree guys to get their equipment back here. I need to take it for a little ride soon. For maintenance purposes, of course.
Now younguns, pull up here close and listen to your Pappy. You’ll say to yourself, “Oooh me, I love me all of them trees in the backyard of this here house. And I swear i f there ain’t more of the pretty green bastards out front!” You remember now that a tree is a living GROWING thing, and every couple of years you will spend the cost of a nice used motorcycle or a decent old car (depending on taste and luck) on getting them thar trees trimmed up nice to keep the missus happy. The point is that it ain’t cheap to keep them trees.
Toby likes this new ball. We have a graduation party Saturday for my older son, so there is lots of chaos in the preparation. Mrs. IM is determined to donate the Cressida for the tax deduction, because we will get more that way than we will selling it. It pains me to admit she is right. She is a good enthusiast, and now that she only has eyes for the X1-9, her former love is yesterday’s news and she wants it gone. She said, “It doesn’t matter how much we’ve spent if we don’t want the project and I don’t want the project.” Smart woman, this one. Wonder how she ended up with me....
Toby ad Kirby want to be friends, but they do not speak the same language of frienship. Toby is like “Let’s play!” and Kirby is like “Let’s chill for a minute..no sudden movementsI, please.” Kirby is Snoop Dog, and Toby is Chris Tucker. I have to go to court Friday for a mandatory settlement conference in a case where the other side wants an insane amount of money and there is a motion pending that could make or break the whole thing and a procedural record that I am not sure has ever been seen before. Let’s party!
A Facebook friend who is about 15 years older than me and a big car guy posted some thing about the best American pickups, and his own personal love for the Power Wagon (he has excellent taste). I hit him with this gif in the comments, and I don’t think he appreciated it (although his sense of humour is also ordinarily excellent). I think I just might have gone a little too far. Don’t be my friend, Oppo. Sooner or later you end up with a Pussy Wagon on your Facebook.

I made a rule for myself to never post anything I wouldn’t be willing to show to my great grandmother. I occasionally push the limits, but for the most part, it’s kept me out of trouble.

Yeah, I spent $1200 on getting mine trimmed last year. We have a gigantic canopy elm behind my garage that stretches over my entire back yard. I hope I don’t live here if that thing ever dies, because it would cost a freaking fortune to take out.

My t rees don’t scare me. The one that is third from the left is dying and has to come down. The stump was made last year...
However, I do need to be careful. One of my neighbours got himself killed last week by a tree whilst felling it as his wife and young children looked on...
